The House of Tiles
We're a Melbourne-based circular design studio.
Zero-waste, modular textile systems.
Founded in Naarm (Melbourne) by a collective of designers, engineers, technologists and community makers rethinking about the accessibility of textile assembly.
Why the Planned Obsolescence?
Every tile is reversible and reusable.
No stitch. No glue.

Tile for Change
Every kit gives back, tile by tile.
Free textile workshops, funded by what you buy.
For every kit sold, a set number of tiles, shown right on the product page and on your receipt, goes toward free community and school textile workshops we run ourselves. It's not a vague pledge: every contribution is tracked internally, order by order, and we report on where it went each year. As the program grows, we're looking to extend it through giving partners beyond our own workshops too.
Every tile saves something out of the landfill. Join the movement.
